We can help you with the basics, through to more complex tasks.

These courses are aimed at the beginner who may want to just learn how to use the basics, or for someone who may want to progress onto a qualification later on.

OCR Entry Level ICT

The Start of Your Journey

Course Content:

Computers seem to be everywhere nowadays - mobile phones, cash point machines, mp3 players, DVDs, games machines and digital cameras. If you would like to know a little more about using ICT systems, finding and exchanging information, and developing and presenting information, then this basic level course is for you!

You will also learn how to do word processing, e-mailing and using the internet.

Entry Requirements? No previous computer knowledge is needed.

You work at an appropriate pace agreed with your tutor at enrolment.

Assessment: Each unit of this course requires about 4 hours study time.

Progression: You can build up your skills from Entry Level 2 to Entry Level 3 and then progress on to a Level 1 or level 2 ICT qualifications from here.
