Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Where an employer's assessment for First Aid needs identifies that a First Aider is not necessary, the minimum requirement for an employer is to appoint a person to take charge of the First Aid arrangements. Who should attend? This course is ideal for individuals who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognized qualification in First Aid. Course content * Responsibilities & reporting * Dealing with an unconscious casualty * Heart Attacks * Fractures * Choking * Burns * Assessment of the situation * Resuscitation * Control of bleeding * Shock In addition to the core subjects as listed above, an additional 1 hour is available to cover specific areas that are appropriate to your organization. Duration A 6-hour course consisting of theory and practical work. A maximum of 20 students can be accommodated on the course, with extra facilitators. Qualification Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual ongoing throughout the course. The qualification is valid for 3 years. Location F1 Training is able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, thus reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
